When the underwriters on your policy are unable to approve the full amount of your coverage request, GCC has a solution. We have full access to the excess market and can pursue additional coverage on your buyer(s) to help increase the amount of your protection. This would be provided by a separate carrier under a separate policy.
Excess coverage can help you secure the protection you need to extend more credit to your customer(s). It provides insolvency protection on the additional exposure above what your primary carrier insures. As a general rule, the excess carrier will provide a maximum limit equal to what the primary carrier is offering and their insured percentage mirrors what you have in your primary policy.
